“Stories build the world,” right? It inspires, motivates & helps. The greatest people of this world were inspired by stories before they built their own. The bed-time stories recited by the elder members in the family always fascinated your aspirations. I’m fighting for a dream that is Never Repeat Jokes.
What’s worse than bullying? Psychological warfare. “Cyber-bullying.” 95% of social media-users witness cruel behavior. 1 in 3 of us are victims of social networking platforms. 55% witness this frequently.
The spark to ignite the fire against me is that I’m not a real comedian as I don’t repeat jokes. Who’s to say a fish is not a fish? Or that the chicken came before the egg? This is an open & shut case of sadistic anarchy. I’ve severed all ties. I don’t do comedy cause I’m a professional. I’m skilled to represent the comedy community. I get phone calls to do work for people. I bring awareness to stand-up, trying not to waste our most valuable resource: time. People do ask me how it is to perform & even more perform due to my influence. Half sport half business. Intensive therapy. Put in the time. Love & fear comedy equally. It is an unwritten language. An out of body experience. Our giant hearts are under-rated. Brave but self-conscious as if we all have a blinking problem. In the end, every comedian has another’s back in any & every circumstance. Like the Crips. Yes that’s spelled right. Not only is the T silent but it isn’t there.
As I perform only rarely, I seem eccentric among the rest. A person eccentric in one respect is often eccentric in others. I fly in the face of reason, authority, & common sense with self-assurance. Only after the height of unreason does a new idea gain reasonability.
Facing adversity in a repetitive nature, your adaptability decides whether you react positively or negatively. Regulation of your emotions is preventative of a victim going on to perpetuate a bully.
Bullying is typically repetitive & enacted by those who are in a position of power over the victim. A growing body of research illustrates a significant relationship between bullying & emotional intelligence (EI).
